Matthew 3:15 “But Jesus answering said to him, ‘Permit it at this time; for in this way it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.’ Then he permitted Him.”
Interpretation:
Jesus’ baptism, though seemingly unnecessary for Him, fulfilled all righteousness.
He obeyed a given command, completely identifying with us.
Jesus teaches us that obedience means fulfilling all of God’s righteous expectations.
Application:
Seek to fulfill all of God’s righteous commands in your life.

Actively pursue righteousness in an area you usually neglect.
